Is as a means of self character development

Nowadays, English is getting closer and closer to us. Even our young brothers or sisters have been introduced with English since they go to playgroup. We don’t need to amaze if we see that they mention English words fluently. It’s not a big thing… but remember !!! Language is habitual including English. Accustoming to speak English, we will able to speak English fluently, either spoken or written. We can conclude that if English are introduced since we are young, of course can be more usefull and don’t forget to apply TELATEN** (diligent), TITEN (understand and memorize), OPEN (maintained)

The concept have been applied by WEC members wherever they are. Hoping that the members of WEC IAIN Walisongo Semarang can share and teach English skill. Even they can learn and exercise to speak English indirectly in their boardinghouse, college, TPQ, mosque, neighborhood etc.

The main role of WEC is a place to study to discuss and to defend the tradition to speak English college surrounding. Moreover there is also American Corner that certainly it can make cooperation with WEC.

By mastering English, we can reach our dream. For example, some of WEC members can reach their dream, mas Badi’ who is as a successful translator and an Author of some books, Agus mutohar who gets S2 degree scholarship in US, Amin Fauzi who is an ANTARA journalist. And many others.

So, lets conquer the world with English and create your own wings with English. OK.
